Crossing to Holy Isle for guests
Between April and end October, the Holy Isle Ferry usually runs to connect with the 09.45, 12.30 and 15.15 main ferries from Ardrossan Harbour. So, if you catch a later ferry from Ardrossan Harbour, you may need to stay the night on Arran.
Crossing Lamlash Bay to the Holy Isle depends on the timing of low tide. When you book your stay on Holy Isle we'll send you a confirmation email, detailing crossing times for your specific dates.
High winds can sometimes prevent crossings. Holy Isle office staff watch the weather closely and liaise daily with the Holy Isle Ferry. If disruption looks possible, we'll do our best to warn you a few days in advance. If you are in any doubt, please contact Holy Isle Reception (firstname.lastname@example.org or 01770 601100) before your departure to ensure that tides and weather are favourable.
